2. How we use it
• Provide memberships, recommend trips, and refer you to Suppliers
• Personalize recommendations and, with your consent, show pre- and post-trip biomarker comparisons
• Process payments, prevent fraud, and keep the Services secure
• Communicate about bookings, renewals, and service changes
• Send marketing you can opt out of anytime
• Improve the Services using aggregated or de-identified data
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms
3. Consumer health data
We collect and share health data only with your separate, explicit consent, and only to deliver what you asked for (for example, telling a retreat about an allergy, or importing your lab results). You can withdraw consent anytime; we then stop collecting it and delete it unless the law requires us to keep it. We do not use health data for advertising, and we do not sell it. THC is generally not a covered entity under HIPAA. Labs and clinical providers that test or treat you have their own obligations and privacy notices. Washington, Nevada and Connecticut residents have additional consumer health data rights; see our Consumer Health Data Notice at
www.travelhealthclub.com/consumer-health-data-privacy.
4. How we share it
• Suppliers: hotels, retreats, airlines and practitioners, only when you ask us to refer or introduce you, and only what they need
• Testing partners: labs or health platforms you choose to connect, with your consent
• Service providers: hosting, payments, email, analytics and customer support, under contract to protect your data
• Affiliates: companies under common control with THC, under this policy
• Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect someone's safety
• Business transfers: in a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets
5. Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to run the site, and analytics and advertising cookies only as allowed by your settings. You can manage choices in our cookie banner and browser. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of targeted advertising. We do not place advertising trackers on pages that collect health data.
6. Retention
We keep account and booking records for the life of your account plus up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes. Health data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose you consented to, then deleted. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and vendor review. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you of a breach affecting your data as the law requires.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including California, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut and other US states, and the EU/UK), you may have the right to:
• Know and access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your information
• Get a portable copy
• Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling
• Limit use of sensitive information, or withdraw consent
• Appeal our decision on your request
Submit requests at info@travelhealthclub.com or (512) 998-7988.
We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires (usually 45 days). You may use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; if still unresolved, you may contact your state Attorney General.
California residents: In the past 12 months we collected the categories in Section 1 for the purposes in Section 2 and disclosed them as described in Section 4. We have not sold or "shared" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. International users
THC is based in the United States, and your data is processed here. For EU and UK users, our legal bases are contract (bookings), consent (health data, marketing), legitimate interests (security, improvement) and legal obligation. We use Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Minors traveling with a parent or guardian are booked by that adult, who provides any needed details.
11. Marketing choices
Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, or reply STOP to texts. We will still send transactional messages about your bookings and account.
12. Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date and notify you of material changes by email or on the site. We will ask for fresh consent before using health data in a materially new way.
